I ran inside at the gym this morning. The track is .1 miles so I got to go around 31 times to put my 5K in. The only problem with the gym is that it is like a bomb shelter for GPS and WiFi. I figured out my lap times by using my iPhone stop watch.
Even with all my technology gone I was able to get my run in and track it. Yes, the geek in me is screaming right now, but I’ll be fine.
I am happy with my 5K at a 10:08 average (non-tech assisted on tracking). Now I am wondering am I more of a geek or a runner? 🙂
I also got in a 30 minute cross-training workout after my run so I felt even better about conquering the day.
