I woke up this morning and felt good after the weight training yesterday. My muscles ached a bit so I focused on stretching and a slower 5K this morning…recovery is key. I ran on the gym track for 3.1 miles with a 10:17 average.
I spent more time walking on the track after my run to really stretch out my legs. Feeling much better this week than I felt three weeks ago after I started my weight training.
Today is all about perseverance!
