Staying with distance I have been focused on 5 by 7. That is a 5 mile run by 7 am. Today I averaged 9:48 and yesterday I was at 9:37. Speed is fun, but distance makes me feel better throughout the day.
The longer distances have helped me with calorie burn and ultimately weight loss. I had hit another one of those weight plateaus, but now I am back to losing about a pound a week with the help of the longer runs.
The pounds are harder to shed now as I get smaller, which is fine as I am working my plan and that was factored in.
Decide to dominate!
