I knew this would happen. I start to go longer distances and my speed was staying constant at 10 minute averages. Now that I am comfortable going 5 miles per morning my speeds are dropping. I laid down a 9:46 average this morning. I also got faster during each mile. The run this morning felt good and I am once again trying to find that comfortable speed. Obviously I am okay with all this as it is another indicator my training plan is working.
Time to finish out the week strong.
