The first day of Spring and its snowing…go figure. I tossed on the layers and headed to Cleveland for the 5K.
I was looking forward to this 5K as it crosses both the Hope and Veteran’s Memorial Bridges. That means a course that isn’t flat. I knew I’d have the ability to motor past some people who haven’t run the bridges before…they can be tough if you’re not expecting the inclines.
I finished with an 8:28 average. That put me 11 out of 33 in my age group. I was 124 out of 697 overall. My watch time had me at an 8:24 average. We’ll go with the chip time to keep me honest. I’m very happy with this run because I kept the pace in the 8’s the whole way and I handled the inclines pretty easily.
Decide to dominate!
