I wasn’t able to make my team run today. The workout was 35 minutes out and 35 minutes back at a smooth relaxed pace. I wasn’t going to skip so I enlisted the services of one of my other running partners.
Jasper seems to have no issue with long distances or holding a 9:30ish average…as long as I promise he’ll see squirrels. This was his first long run of the year and he did very well. I felt great and could have gone longer or faster, but didn’t as I’m really trying to stick to the half fast program.
I’m working hard to watch when I’m eating by limiting snacking and eating better. Robeks has become a go to for me for lunch…lots of great smoothie choices loaded with fruits and veggies. Yes, I said veggies…me I know. You can hide anything in a smoothie…it’s true. I’m still on track for dropping below the 200 lb mark before my first half of the year.
